Collection of 8 stories for children compiled and translated from English by Benjamin Bailey. 'Cheru Paithangalkka Upakarartham Emkleesil Ninna Paribhashappeduthiya Kathakal' was first published in 1824 and this is the first Malayalam book ever printed in Kerala. This new SPCS edition comes with a bio note of Bailey and an introductory study by Dr Babu Cherian. This book also has some pages from the original book.
