Tharisappalli Pattayam is a copper-plate grant issued by the King of Venadu (Quilon) to the Christians in Malabar in the 5th regnal year of the Chera ruler Sthanu Ravi Varma. The inscription describes the gift of land to the Teresa Church near Quilon.
This book has the actual size colour images of all the pages of the 'Pattayam', alongwith studies by Charles Swanston, Shakespeare, Herman Gundert, T A Gopinatha Rao, C P T Winckworth and F C Burkitt. It also has the Malayalam and English translation of the document.
