Biography of Anandatheerthan written by T H P Chentharasery. Swamy Anandatheerthan was Ananda Shenoy who participated in freedom struggle with leaders like Rajagopalachary. He was a staunch Gandhian and attracted to Sree Narayanaguru’s teachings. Ananda met him at Sivagiri in 1928. He became Guru’s disciple and took the name Swamy Ananda Theerthan. He was the first President of Sree Narayana Dharma Sangam Trust in 1959. Swamy left the post for taking part in social service activities for the downtrodden.
