The threat of compulsory conversion by the Portuguese clergy have shadowed over all her richness. She was compelled to take refuge in the hands of a 'shoodra' in a tribal village.

This novel unravels the untold mystery of Goan Inquisition. A neatly and brilliantly woven story out of 17th century history. Shadow of Invisible won the Atlas- Kairali TV Literary Award in 2007.
