WHAT'S IT
ഇരട്ട സഹോദരന്മാരായ അച്ചുവിന്റെയും അപ്പുവിന്റെയും കഥയാണ് അണ്ണന്തമ്പി. ഓര്മവച്ച നാള് മുതല് കടുത്ത ശത്രുതയിലാണ് ഇവര്. ഊമയായ അച്ചുവിന് പലപ്പോഴും അപ്പുവിന്റെ തെറ്റുകള്ക്ക് കുറ്റമേല്ക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നു. ഈ വഴക്ക് വഷളാവുന്നത് ഒഴിവാക്കാന് അപ്പുവിനെ പൊള്ളാച്ചിയിലേക്ക് അയയ്ക്കുന്നു. പൊള്ളാച്ചി മാര്ക്കറ്റില് തട്ടിപ്പും വെട്ടിപ്പുമായി നടക്കുന്ന അപ്പുവിന്റെ കാമുകിയാണ് തേന്മൊഴി(ലക്ഷ്മി റോയ്). അപ്പുവിന്റെ പഴയ കൂട്ടാളിയും ഇപ്പോള് ശത്രുവുമായ ധര്മരാജന് (രാജന് പി ദേവ്) തേന്മൊഴിയുടെ ചിറ്റപ്പനാണ്; രക്ഷിതാവും.
അച്ചുവാകട്ടെ അച്ഛന്റെ ബാലേ ട്രൂപ്പും അമ്പലത്തിന്റെ ഭരണവുമായി കഴിയുകയാണ്. ഭാര്യ ലക്ഷ്മി. (ഗോപിക). വിവാഹം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് അഞ്ചു വര്ഷം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും കുട്ടികളില്ലാത്തത് അച്ചുവിനെ വല്ലാതെ അലട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്. ഒരു പ്രത്യേക സാഹചര്യത്തില് അച്ചു തേന്മൊഴിയെ തട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോരുന്നു. തുടര്ന്ന് അപ്പുവും വീട്ടിലെത്തുന്നു. തുടര്ന്ന് നടക്കുന്ന സംഭവപരമ്പരകളാണ് അണ്ണന് തമ്പിയുടെ ഗതി തിരിച്ചു വിടുന്നത്.

PLUSES
ഒരു തികഞ്ഞ എന്റര്ടെയ്നറാണ് അണ്ണന്തമ്പി. മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ അഭിനയം എടുത്തു പറയേണ്ടതാണ്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും ഊമയായ അച്ചു. മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ കുട്ടിക്കാലം അഭിനയിച്ച ബാലതാരങ്ങളും അഭിനന്ദനം അര്ഹിക്കുന്നു. ഹരിശ്രീ അശോകന്, സലിം കുമാര്, സുരാജ് വെഞ്ഞാറമൂട്, ജനാര്ദനന് എന്നിവര് പതിവു പോലെ തിളങ്ങി. ചെറിയ വേഷമാണെങ്കിലും ബിജുക്കുട്ടന് ചിരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് സ്ക്രീന് വിട്ടു പോകുന്നത്. ഗോപികയും പക്വമാര്ന്ന അഭിനയം കാഴ്ചവച്ചു. ജനാര്ദനന്റെ (അപ്പു- അച്ചുമാരുടെ അച്ഛന് ) ബാലെ ട്രൂപ്പിനെ സമര്ഥമായി കഥയില് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ബാലേ സംഘം തേന്മൊഴിയുമായി ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് പായുന്നതും മറ്റും ആരെയും ചിരിപ്പിക്കും. സംവിധായകനെന്ന നിലയില് അന്വര് റഷീദിന് അഭിമാനിക്കാം.
MINUSES
കഥയില് കാര്യമായ പുതുമ വരുത്താന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. കേരള - തമിഴ് നാട് അതിര്ത്തിയിലെ ഗ്രാമാന്തരീക്ഷത്തില് രണ്ടു സംസ്കാരങ്ങളേയും സമന്വയിപ്പിച്ചുള്ള സിനിമകള് ഇപ്പോള് ധാരാളമായി. അപ്പുവിന്റെ കൈയബദ്ധം കൊണ്ട് ജ്യോത്സനു പരിക്കു പറ്റുന്നതേയുള്ളൂവെന്നും കൊല്ലുന്നതു മറ്റൊരാളാണെന്നു പിന്നീട് തെളിയുന്നതും പോലുള്ള ‘തിരിമറികള്’ ഇതിനകം പലതവണ നമ്മള് കണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞു. പൊള്ളാച്ചിയില് നിന്ന് കല്യാണശേഷം ആദ്യമായി പാലക്കാട്ട് എത്തുന്ന തേന്മൊഴിയെ അതിനും വളരെ മുമ്പ് നാട്ടിലെ ഉത്സവത്തിനിടെയുള്ള സംഘനൃത്തത്തില് കാണുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?
VERDICT
രാജമാണിക്യം പോലെ ‘പൊളപ്പന്’ അല്ലെങ്കിലും ഛോട്ടാ മുംബൈയേക്കാള് ‘ബഡാ’ ആണ്.

annanthambi is a good entertiner. good storyline and good comedy .especially mammootty's acting very well.this is the vishu vinner,this is the sure long running. i will give 7 marks

excellent movie by anwer rasheed.thumbi roll is super.150days sure.mammukka is great actor.the movie will break the record of 'Rajamanikyam'.all over kerala collection is one crore from opening day.

Good entrainer .....
Padam Kollam....Nothing new in the story but the movie was very enjoyable from beginning to the end.....Thampi was better than Annan....Comedy was good...Oru 6 mark kodukkoo....
Eventhough Anwar Rasheed sticks to his same old formula, this is a typical example of how a mass masala entertainer which can pull the crowd to theaters especialy in festive seasons . Mammootty really doing wonders in the dumb character and he amazes everyone with his comic timing ,which everyone understated once. Songs and actions , except the one at climax which can do better, really suit for the festive seasons . The story and its twisiting is now become a commonthing in similar kind of films .Still I gave a maximum of 6 marks .
I liked the movie...Good comedy and a real time pass....I think the movie is going to be one of the biggest hits....I never seen this much crowd even though the movie is running in almost every small towns in Ernakulam area.Give 7 out of 10. At last Kerala theatre owners also start making some money....
വിഷുക്കാലത്ത് ഇറങ്ങിയ മറ്റു ചിത്രങ്ങളേക്കാള് അണ്ണന് തമ്പി ഒരു പാട് മുന്നില് നില്ക്കുന്നു. പക്ഷെ തമ്പിക്ക് അണ്ണനേക്കാള് പ്രായം തോന്നിക്കുന്നു. കുറച്ചുകൂടി ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നുവെങ്കില് അണ്ണന് തമ്പി രാജമാണിക്കത്തേക്കാള് ഒരുപടികൂടി മുന്നിലായേനെ.
എന്തായാലും ഈ പ്രായത്തിലും മമ്മൂട്ടി ഒരു സംഭവം തന്നെ.

Gambeera padam....Watched from Balussery ...A b-class center and for the first time they released a movie ...The movie is such a big hit with repeated viewers....You can give 9/10.

finally ,,,among vishu release a movie came that made happy to audience.dont go for any logic just enjoy couple of hours.you will get very good refreshment.mammootty done his job brilliantly.especially the dumb character.its paisa vasool for sure.go and enjoy............

Good entertainer, among the vishu films this is best; Music should improve lot. There is no good songs in this movie; full credits to go Mammooty. He is excellent in every part of the movie. Hats off Anwar Rasheed & Mammootty Team

The Movie may be escaped by the way they releasing in 75 centers and, so, maximum they can pocketing within one week. But, technically and storywise the filim is remembring old MGR style Tamil Masala movies. My rating is 3/10.
WITHOUT A STRONG STORY ONLY MAMMOOTTY CAN BRING HITS, WE DNT WANT STRNG STRORIES,MESSAGES,TYPICAL MALAYALAM KUDUMBA KADHAS WHAT WE EXPECT FROIM CINEMA IS JUST ENTERTAINMENT AND ANWAR RASHHED AND HIS CREW DELIVERED IT... WELL DONE ,, COLOURFULL FILM
