WHAT'S IT
പ്ലസ് ടു വിദ്യാര്ഥികളുടെ കഥയാണിത്. സൈറ, ശ്രീദേവി, പൂജ എന്നിവര് ഉറ്റ ചങ്ങാതിമാരാണ്. കൂടെ പഠിക്കുന്ന സൂരജ് മേനോനുമായി ശ്രീദേവി പ്രണയത്തിലാകുന്നു. അതു ചില പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. പരസ്പരം സഹായിക്കാന് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ആ പ്രശ്നങ്ങള് പരിഹരിക്കാന് അവര്ക്കു കഴുന്നില്ല. അതീവഗുരുതരമായ സംഭവവികാസങ്ങള് അരങ്ങേറുന്നു. ഒടുവില്, ആറു വര്ഷത്തെ ഇടവേളയ്ക്കു ശേഷം കഥ ശുഭകരമായി അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.
PLUSES
കൌമാരപ്രായക്കാര് പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളാകുന്നു എന്ന പ്രത്യേകതയുണ്ട്. ആ പ്രായക്കാരുടെ പല പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും സുവ്യക്തമായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന് കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. പുതുമുഖങ്ങളായ കുട്ടികള് നന്നായി അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. സംവിധായകന്റെ സാമര്ഥ്യം പലയിടത്തും പ്രകടമായി കാണാം. മലയാളസിനിമ ഇതുവരെ കാണാത്ത സങ്കേതികമേന്മ ഈ സിനിമയ്ക്കുണ്ട്. മൊത്തത്തില് നോക്കിയാല്, ഒരു ധീരമായ പരീക്ഷണം. അതു നന്നായി വിജയിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.
MINUSES
കംപ്യൂട്ടറും മൊബൈല് ഫോണും വ്യാപകമായ ഇക്കാലത്ത് നിത്യേന കത്തുകള് കൈമാറുന്നവരായി കാമുകീകാമുകന്മാരെ ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതില് ചെറിയ അസ്വാഭാവികതയുണ്ട് (പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്, ഊട്ടിയിലെ ഹൈ-ടെക് സ്കൂളില് പഠിക്കുമ്പോള്). ഒരു കഥാപാത്രം ആദ്യപരാമര്ശങ്ങളില് മുരടനും സ്നേഹശൂന്യനുമാണ്. എന്നാല്, രംഗത്തു വരുമ്പോള് തികഞ്ഞ സ്നേഹസമ്പന്നനും. ഈ തകിടംമറിയലിനുള്ള കാരണം യുക്തിസഹമായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന് പറ്റിയിട്ടില്ല. കുത്തിത്തിരുകിയതു പോലെയുള്ള ഒരു പാട്ടും റോഷന് ആന്ഡ്രൂസ് ഒരുക്കുന്ന ദൃശ്യവിരുന്ന് ആസ്വദിക്കാന് തടസമാകുന്നു.
VERDICT
മലയാളസിനിമയുടെ മുഖച്ഛായ പുതിയ കാലത്തിനനുഗുണമായി മാറുന്നതു കാണാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവര് തീര്ച്ചയായും കണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ട സിനിമ.

Don't say the love letters are boring. it is above the mobile phone and internet. notebook is really good film compared to Maamootty -Lal films. because it becomes more boring. so we have to encourage these films.
i saw all the christhmas release s, i will give u, 8 out of 10, because it is a very good movie ever,
we noted that all are news, their acting,
then Roshan s direction,he can create a high emotion, and suspenses.
its a memorable film in malayalam, none of other filam cant compare to this movie, because its far different fromm class mates and all
HI ALL THE MOVIE NOTE BOOK IS HIGH DEFINITION SUPER TROOPER BAD AND DIRTY FILM I EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE THIS FILM DOESNT HAVE ANY MESSAGE THE STORY TELLS ABOUT ILLEGAL RELATION WITH A BOY AND THE FRIENDSHIP IN THIS MOVIE WILL REMEMBER THE SHAKESPEARS WORD U TOO BRUTUS ROSHAN ANDREWS THINKS THAT THIS MOVIE IS ONLY FOR FLURTERS AND DEVIL NATURED BOYS AND GIRLS.
I went & saw the movie today and i liked the movie.The film has focussed the present campus life. Some talks in the film may be boring but its all happening in the campuses.It totally different from other movies even from class mates.i really liked the movie.
NICE MOVIE,WE SHOULD ENCOURGE THIS KIND OF MOVIES TOO,CUTE COLERFUL
film was superb and realistic. girls esp.roma and maria played a lot to make it a success. thanks to r.andrews for a good film like this. my best wishes to all. hoping it will make a change in the film trend.

I loved this movie!! It has one of the finest scripts ever in a malayalam movie. It is understated and subtle and the narration is multi- layered which makes it worth watching repeatedly. But at the same time it does not compromise on entertainment. The dialogues are so natural and relevant to the times without being sugary or sickeningly sweet. The visual brilliance, the foot tappig music, all combine to make a great and memorable movie. Hats off to Roshan and his team...
by this time i have seen the movie 9 times & still goin.i dont knw wat is attracting me to the film but i feel like seein it again & again. I dont get bored,it may due to those nice songs in the film.

Good Movie
I really like this movie and watched 2 times. Congrats to Roshen,Boby & Sanjay, Mejo and for Grahalakshmi productions for taking such an effort to bring the movie such a memorable and colourful.
This movie is really good...Even better than Classmates and Palunku.Don't compare this with our typical Masala or crowd pulling tamil (Pokkiri-I still don't understand how people can watch that movie for 2 hours) hits.Roshan Andrwes is an asset to Malayalam movie industry.

Hey abt Note Book it jus amazing film by Mr.Rosah Andrews.......And the best part is he chose Roma the Cute Girl for the Film 2 b a hit.....A Roma ur just Amazing n the film...hope 2 c u in many movies girl............ anywayzzzzz way to go gal........
