Shadow of Invisible, written by Chandran Puchakkaad, tells us the story of Meera Mangeshkar, a well placed young beautiful Devadasi of Mangeeshi. She was expert in the art of Kamasutra, dance and music. She was the most powerful lady of Goa having hundreds orderlies at her inn. The threat of compulsory conversion by the Portuguese clergy have shadowed over all her richness. She was compelled to take refuge in the hands of a 'shoodra' in a tribal village.

This novel unravels the untold mystery of Goan Inquisition. A neatly and brilliantly woven story out of 17th century history. Shadow of Invisible won the Atlas- Kairali TV Literary Award in 2007.
